First Passport for Applicants Age 15 and Younger

First time applicants age 15 and younger born outside of the United States must first establish their claim to U.S. citizenship before a U.S. passport can be issued.  Please refer to our information regarding how to apply for a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA).  Please note that the minor (age 15 and younger) and both parents must appear in person.  The application must be signed before a U.S. consular officer.  Please go to our appointment page to schedule an appointment.

Renewal for Children Age 15 and Younger

All renewal applicants age 15 and younger must appear in person with their parents at the Embassy to renew their passports.  The application must be signed before a U.S. consular officer. Please go to our appointment page to schedule an appointment.  You may renew your passport at any time before or after it expires.
