Off-Site Services

1. Please note that when providing consular services outside of the U.S. Embassy, only MONEY ORDERS in the exact amount will be accepted.  We do NOT accept cash or credit card payments. Please refer to this page for appropriate fees

2. Please make photocopies, along with the original documents submitted; such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, or any name change documents. Also, two copies of both parent’s passports or IDs (front & back).

3. While conducting outreach services, we are away from the office and do not have access to all our resources.  As a result, the officer may ask applicants with unusual circumstances to make an appointment at the U.S. Embassy to continue processing their application.

4. Please note that the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Seoul Field Office will have a representative at the below outreaches to answer general inquiries about naturalization for military members and their spouses, citizenship for foreign-born children of military members, how to apply for carrier documentation if you lost or have an expired alien resident card, and other USCIS benefits. The Consular Section will be providing American Citizen Services (ACS) on November 16, 2018 (Friday) from 09:00~13:00 at the Westin Chosun Busan.

During these visits, U.S. citizens can apply for  U.S. passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, and notarial services.

ACS services are on a walk-in basis.

Please also note that when providing consular services outside of the U.S. Embassy, we are only able to accept payment by money order in U.S. dollars for the exact amount of the service made payable to the “CASHIER FMC U.S. EMBASSY SEOUL”. 

We will be conducting services at Camp Henry on November 14, 2018 from 13:00-16:30 and November 15, 2018 from 09:00-11:00 & 12:30~14:00.  Please see below for details.

    Camp Henry Legal Assistance Office, Bldg. #1805 (appointment required)  These services are available only to applicants who have or can secure base access. To schedule an appointment, please call DSN 763-4429/4423 or visit Legal Assistance Office, Bldg.#1805, Camp Henry.

During these visits, U.S. citizens can apply for U.S. passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad.  Consular personnel can provide information related to report of deaths, registration with the Embassy, and other consular matters.

Please note that there will be outreach services by USCIS.

    – Location: Camp Humphreys Army Community Service (ACS) at One Stop (Bldg #6400, Classroom 3)
    These services are available only to applicants who have or can secure base access. An appointment is required for all ACS services except for passport pick-ups.  To schedule an appointment, please call DSN 757-2362/2372.
