We accept Cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, JCB, Diners Club and American Express cards at the Embassy. The applicant can use a credit card in his/her name or a credit card of the person accompanying the applicant to the Embassy.
For adult passport renewals (DS-82) via Courier Service, we accept online payments through Pay.gov, international money orders from a local bank in Korea or USPS domestic money orders.
For passport appointments at all locations, please use the ACS Appointment System.
Applicants visiting the Embassy will be allowed to check in only one cell phone and one set of electronic car keys before entering the building. No other devices will be permitted, and the Embassy has no capacity to store them. Please leave these items at home or make arrangements for their storage before arriving for your appointment.
Courier Service
The U.S. Embassy currently uses only one courier company to provide a round-trip service, bringing your materials to the U.S. Embassy then bringing your processed documents back to your door. These companies provide an on-line tracking of your documents to and from the Embassy for your convenience.
For more details about the courier service (cost, time to schedule a pickup, etc.), please contact the courier company directly. The courier will request payment when picking up your passport and again when delivering it back to you. Delivery charges are paid COD. Please note that the courier companies cannot deliver to APO addresses.
