With the improvements in the COVID-19 situation in Korea, we now offer limited in-person appointments for those who need to submit a DS-11 passport application (minor applicants, first-time adult, first application after a lost/stolen passport) or Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA).
We are accepting DS-82 U.S. Passport Renewal Applications and DS-5504 applications via courier service ONLY. (The DS-5504 is used to make a correction, register a name change within one year of passport issuance, or exchange a limited passport.)
Beginning May 23, 2021, qualifying adult passport renewal applicants may pay the $130 passport renewal fee online via U.S. or international credit or debit card, electronic funds transfer from a U.S.-based bank account, Amazon Pay, or Pay Pal. Please see our Passport Renewal webpage to determine if you are eligible for online fee payment. See our FAQ page for more information on this new process.
Returning to the United States on an Expired U.S. Passport: If you are overseas and your passport expired on or after January 1, 2020, you may be able to use your expired passport to return directly to the United States until June 30, 2022. See this page for more information.
You can fill out the correct form, or find information about your passport status at Travel.State.gov
You must provide one photo with your passport application. All our photo policies apply to both adults and children under age 16. We have a few exceptions to our photo policies for infants.
