Off-Site Services

Off-Site Services are reserved for applicants who have or can secure base access.

1. Please note that when providing consular services outside of the U.S. Embassy, only MONEY ORDERS in the exact amount will be accepted.  We do NOT accept CASH. Please refer to this page for appropriate fees

2. Please make photocopies, along with the original documents submitted; such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, or any name change documents. Also, two copies of both parent’s passports or IDs (front & back).

3. While conducting outreach services, we are away from the office and do not have access to all our resources.  As a result, the officer may ask applicants with unusual circumstances to make an appointment at the U.S. Embassy to continue processing their application.

We will be conducting services in Camp Casey on November 8, 2016 from 9:30-13:30  at the Army Community Services (ACS) building. Please note that these services are reserved for applicants who have or can secure base access.

During these visits, U.S. citizens can apply for U.S. passports (tourist and official/diplomatic/no-fee)Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, and Social Security cards.  A consular officer will also offer notarial services and provide information regarding voting, federal benefits, and registration with the Embassy.  The consular staff is also available to assist with emergencies involving U.S. citizens.

An appointment is required for all services.  To schedule an appointment, please send an email to CampCaseyPassport@state.gov.  When submitting your request by e-mail, you will need to provide the following information:

  • Applicant’s full name and date of birth 
  • Local contact phone number 
  • If you prefer an AM or PM appointment 
  • Type of service requested 

Once you make an appointment, you will receive further details, including location, by email.

We will be conducting services at Kunsan Air Base on October 13, 2016 from 13:00-16:30 and October 14, 2016 from 9:00-11:30 at the Loring Club Ballroom building #1025, Ballroom 1&2.  Please note that these services are reserved for applicants who have or can secure base access.

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will be available to answer your immigrant visa questions.  An appointment is not required for USCIS services.

If you are not able to visit us on Yongsan during our consular outreach hours, you may apply for consular services such as passports, reports of birth, and notarial services at the Military Passport Acceptance Agencies located on your base.  Using a Military Passport Acceptance Agency can also save you and your family a trip to the Embassy.
