The U.S. Mission in South Korea is comprised of the Embassy in Seoul and Consulate in Busan. The mission of the United States Embassy is to advance the interests of the United States, and to serve and protect U.S. citizens in the Republic of Korea.
The U.S. Embassy in Seoul is located in Gwanghwamun, in between the KT Building and the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History.
Routine Office Hours: 08:30 –17:00, Monday – Friday
The Embassy is closed for routine services on weekends and on both American and Korean holidays. For after-hour emergency service, please contact the Embassy Duty Officer at (02) 397-4114.
