June 2, 2017 – The American Center Korea invited Korean students and young professionals to the U.S. Embassy MOOCs (Massive Online Open Courses) program for English learners.  ACK EducationUSA staff conducted the session, “Introduction to MOOCs and How to Attend an Online Class,” provided tips on distance learning through MOOCs, and explained how to gain knowledge about U.S. higher education.

April 26, 2017 – The American Center featured Dickie Hargrave, the Assistant Director of International Recruitment at University of North Texas, as an EducationUSA speaker. Ms. Hargrave explained how international students can find information on a variety of topics, such as the benefits of studying in the United States, useful websites for researching colleges, on-campus internship opportunities, and financial aid opportunities.

The joint EducationUSA team also provided one-on-one consultation after the presentation.
