American Center Korea
Welcome to the American Center Korea!

The American Center Korea (ACK) is your main resource in Korea for information on U.S. education, policy, people and culture.   A comfortable, tech-forward space for open dialogue, idea generation and innovation, the ACK organizes a wide variety of activities, including discussions on pressing policy issues, speaker series, workshops, movie nights, discussion clubs, the diverse universe of U.S. education options and more.  The ACK, together with its satellite American Corners in Busan, Gwangju and Daegu, use these activities and information to convey a more accurate picture of the U.S. commitment to this strategically vital ally nation.  The American Center Korea has facilities that help Koreans and others learn information and skills.  It is a place for social interaction, sometimes with U.S. government officials, sometimes with experts, and sometimes just with your friends, where you can think and work creatively, build cultural bridges, collaborate and make new acquaintances.  Our visitor friendly space is free and open to everyone.  We welcome your visit. ACK Youth Coordinator

ACK Youth Coordinators (YCs) are a group of young volunteers at American Center Korea of the U.S. Embassy in Seoul. American Center Korea began this volunteer program in July 2006 to engage with university students and to provide opportunities for YCs to explore U.S. society, history, and culture through participating in diverse public diplomacy programs. After successfully completing one year of volunteer work, YC members receive official certificates from the U.S. Embassy.
