On November 11, U.S. Consul Nolan Barkhouse attended the Turn Toward Busan event to commemorate war veterans who fought for peace and freedom during the Korean War on behalf of the United Nations. Consul paid a silent tribute to the fallen to acknowledge their contribution to secure humanitarian values at the event which finalizes two-week long journey of “UN Weeks in Busan”, and thanked the U.S. veterans invited to the event for their contributions and efforts in defending freedom and democracy during the Korean War.
