Consul Celebrates Opening of Korea’s First Ronald McDonald House

On September 17, Consul Daniel C. Gedacht delivered a congratulatory speech and cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony of the Republic of Korea’s first Ronald McDonald House with 100 dignitaries at Pusan National University’s Yangsan Hospital. The Ronald McDonald House provides housing to families of seriously ill or injured children facing long-term hospitalization.  President of the Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital Kim Dae-seong, McDonald’s Korea CEO Cho Ju-yeon, Yangsan Mayor Kim Il-gwon and RMHC Korea Ambassador Jessica Jung were among the dignitaries in attendance who expressed gratitude to those who have contributed to opening the house.
