CBP Attaché Conducts CLP Training at Gimhae International Airport

On July 5, CBP Attaché Edward V. Bayron and Principal Officer Daniel Gedacht conducted Carrier Liaison Program (CLP) training for employees of Gimhae International Airport and airlines.  The CLP program is designed to enhance U.S. border security by helping commercial carriers to become more effective in identifying improperly documented passengers destined to the U.S.A, Guam, and Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI).  CLP training also covered U.S. entry requirements, passenger assessment, fraudulent document detection and impostor identification.  Employees of Gimhae International Airport, several airlines, and Korea Immigration Service (KIS) were in attendance.  Principal Officer Gedacht opened the session with welcoming remarks.
