Visit to Ulsan: A City of Humanitarianism and a Vision for a New Energy Future
On February 9, Consul David J. Jea met Mayor Song Cheol-ho and City Council Chairman Park Byeong-suk during his official visit to Ulsan Metropolitan City. During meetings with a variety of officials, the Consul learned about the city’s important role in helping to settle newly arrived Afghans of special merit, ambitious vision for renewable energy development, and a new sister city linkage with an new U.S. city. Consul Jea also visited the Ulsan Art Museum to congratulate them on the January 7 opening of their cutting-edge new facility and toured the opening special exhibition ‘Post Nature: Dear Nature’ and ‘Black and Light: Aldo Tambellini’ with Museum Director Suh Jin-suk.
