September 4, 2022 – Mark Dries, Minister-Counselor for Agricultural Affairs at the U.S. Embassy Seoul attended the Korea Cup and Korea Sprint races hosted by the Korea Racing Authority (KRA) at Seoul-Gwacheon racetrack on September 4. The Korea Cup (1,800 meters) and Korea Sprint (1,200 meters) are the top grade international races (G3) held in South Korea annually.

Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA)
August 11, 2022 – Minister-Counselor Mark Dries attended and gave a “Texas-sized” welcome and message of appreciation to Korean buyers at an Education Seminar hosted by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) and the Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA) at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Seoul on August 11, 2022.

USSEC Soy Food Master Award Ceremony
July 28, 2022 – Mark Dries, Agricultural Minister-Counselor of U.S. Embassy Seoul, attended the USSEC Soy Food Master Award Ceremony 2022 on July 28 and provided congratulatory remarks. The Soy Food Master Program is a new marketing tool developed by the United States Soybean Export Council (USSEC) Seoul office.

2022 Biofuels International Symposium
July 12, 2022 – On July 12, the USDA Office of Agricultural Affairs Seoul, the U.S. Grains Council, and the Environmental Daily News jointly hosted the 2022 “Biofuels in a climate crisis and carbon neutrality era” International Symposium.
