“Pushing” together to PyeongChang

October 25, 2017–As the Olympics torch was being lit in Greece, U.S. Embassy Seoul‎ was in PyeongChang with Team USA Bobsled & Skeleton athletes and future members of Korea’s Olympic team.  During their visit to a training center for the Korean development team, Team USA’s pilots, including two-time Olympic medalist Elena Meyers, 2010 gold medalist Justin Olsen, and 2014 bronze medalist Jamie Greubel, demonstrated bobsled push starts and exchanged pushing tips and tricks with athletes from the Korean Junior Bobsled & Skeleton team.  The event was part of the U.S. Embassy’s “Hello, Korea!” initiative, which aims to introduce Team USA athletes to the Korean public and demonstrate the Embassy’s support for the PyeongChang Olympics.  To learn more about the Team USA Bobsled & Skeleton team, please visit https://www.teamusa.org/USA-Bobsled-Skeleton-Federation.
