Alondra Nelson, head of the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), met yesterday with Lee Jong-ho, the Republic of Korea (ROK)’s Minister of Science and Information and Communication Technology at the White House. She indicated support for people-to-people exchanges, agreed to work towards a joint statement on quantum technology cooperation, and shared her appreciation that negotiations on the U.S.-ROK Science and Technology Cooperation Agreement – with amendments and extension – have successfully concluded.
